PRIVACY NOTICE
Pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), UKAS Partners Attorneys at Law (“UKAS Partners”), acting as the data controller, places great importance on the protection and security of personal data processed through its website www.ukaspartners.com.
This Privacy Notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK in order to inform data subjects regarding the processing of their personal data.
1. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Personal data is processed in compliance with the KVKK, secondary legislation, and decisions of the Turkish Data Protection Authority for the following purposes:

Legal Obligations:
Where required by applicable legislation, personal data may be processed, stored, and transferred for the periods stipulated by law or as required for the relevant purpose.
Dispute Resolution:
Personal data may be processed to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations, to resolve potential disputes, and may be shared with competent judicial and administrative authorities where necessary.

Personal data may be processed to analyze website usage, evaluate requests, complaints, and suggestions, and improve service quality and user experience.
In addition, personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
Provision of legal advisory and attorney services and communication with clients and third parties within this scope,
Issuance of professional invoices and execution of accounting and payment processes,
Management of internal operations including finance, IT, HR, office administration, and archiving,
Compliance with information and document requests from judicial and administrative authorities,
Fulfilment of obligations under applicable legislation, in particular the Turkish Attorneys’ Act No. 1136.
2. Legal Grounds for Processing
Personal data may be processed based on the legal grounds set forth under Article 5 of the KVKK, including:
Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract,
Personal data being made public by the data subject,
Necessity for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a legal right,
Legitimate interests of the data controller,
Compliance with legal obligations.
Where required, personal data may also be processed based on the data subject’s explicit consent.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data may be transferred to relevant third parties, business partners, and public authorities in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purposes stated herein.
Where personal data is transferred abroad, such transfer shall be carried out in compliance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

5. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects have the right to:
Learn whether personal data is processed,
Request information if personal data has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
Know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
Request correction or deletion of personal data,
Object to adverse results arising from automated processing,
Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
Requests will be responded to within 30 (thirty) days, free of charge unless an additional cost is incurred.
