Efe is a founding partner of UKAS Partners. His practice is centered on debt finance, project finance and restructurings, with a particular focus on renewable and conventional energy, infrastructure, transportation and large-scale investment projects. Prior to UKAS Partners, he worked at GKC Partners, in assıciation with White & Case, where he developed a strong track record in structuring and managing complex, multi-party financing transactions.
Efe has been actively involved in the drafting, review and negotiation of financing and project documentation, the structuring and perfection of security packages, the management of closing procedures and the preparation of legal opinions. He has advised on senior secured financings, refinancings and restructurings for major motorway, energy and airport projects, acting for sponsors and lenders in sophisticated financing structures involving commercial banks, development finance institutions and export credit agencies.
In the field of banking and financial restructuring, Efe has worked on high value debt restructurings and multi bank consortium processes, while also contributing to regulatory initiatives with sector wide impact. This background has shaped a strategic and results driven advisory approach focused on managing financial risk within a robust legal framework.
In addition, Efe has experience in mergers and acquisitions, having advised both buyer and seller side in the due diligence processes and on the drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, bringing a finance driven perspective to cross-border M&A transactions.
